How CivilAxis builds its tools

Every calculation engine is written against the published code text and checked against worked examples, so a result can be traced back to the clause it came from. Each tool states its assumptions and its limits on the page, and names the clause behind each check - the aim is a calculation you can follow and verify, not a bare pass or fail.

Section properties are taken from the published tables of each standard - EN, BS, AISC and TCVN - and every size has its own page with full dimensions and properties, so the values match what you would read from the code.

CivilAxis is a design aid, not a substitute for engineering judgement. Always verify every result independently against the governing code and your own calculations before using it in design.
